Bob Finlayson turned 20 in December 1960. He began the decade living with his parents and younger brother Keith at Jannali in Sydney's south. From about 1963 Bob rented a studio in the Haymarket (Sydney city). Later he and his first wife, the poet Vicki Viidikas, lived in King's Cross, then in Balmain. Paintings, drawings and photos show glimpses of the Sydney of those times.
